Volunteers Make a Difference

For a Rewarding Experience, Volunteer with Us

Nurse greeting senior

Volunteers are critical to our mission. We rely on a dedicated group of volunteers to help make life for our residents interesting and varied. Through the efforts of our volunteers, our residents always have a link to the greater community.

There are many ways for volunteers to help at our community and we are grateful for those compassionate individuals who help us fulfill our mission. Our volunteers make a difference in the lives of our residents – whether that’s by simply spending some quality time with them or providing entertainment with a special skill or talent.

Ways You Can Help

We are always in need of more compassionate individuals who are interested in helping our residents enjoy an exciting and fulfilling life. If you would like to become a volunteer at Buffalo Valley, we can help you find an opportunity that matches your skills, interests and schedule. Some of the ways volunteers have helped us in the past include:

  • Providing transportation for residents
  • Assisting with programs and events
  • Reading to residents
  • Visiting with residents
  • Providing entertainment
  • Assisting with office duties, such as mail sorting and delivery
